- 1). Measure the piece of tile or masonry that will need to be cut and mark exactly where the cut will need to be made. Line up a T-square on the tile and draw a straight line with a marker so an exact cut can be made.
- 2). Pull up on the blade guard and remove the existing blade from the saw. Remove the retaining bolt holding the blade in place with a 3/4-inch wrench. Insert the new wet blade onto the saw and align the hole in the center of the blade with the retaining bolt hole. Attach the retaining bolt to lock the new bolt in place. Release the blade guard so it is back in its normal position.
- 3). Line up the first piece of tile to the blade and set the depth of the cut on the blade, depending on how thick the tile is. Loosen the table adjustment screw near the back of the saw and adjust the depth to where the wet blade will come out, about one-quarter of an inch underneath the tile.
- 4). Plug in the saw and position the cutting guide for the blade along the piece of tile. Press the trigger switch to turn on the saw and carefully pull the wet blade through the piece of tile. Move through the entire piece until a complete cut has been made. Release the trigger switch to allow the blade time to stop.
- 5). Measure the piece to make sure the proper cut was made and repeat the process for anything else that will need to be cut.
