We all know if you burn high-test gas it is more fuel-efficient.
It gives more power and burns cleaner; however, it costs a little extra.
Many people still use 87-octane gas because it is cheaper in the short run.
Most people go through their day in day out activities burning low-test gas.
The analogy here relates to your emotional nature.
As daily frustrations accumulate, the endless routine of giving away the money you earn each week, and constantly thinking two steps ahead, "I've got to get toothpaste tomorrow, take the dog to the vet" etc.
cloaks our emotional nature.
Energy can be transferred from emotional areas to mental areas in a brief moment.
As I look around I see people doing this constantly.
At work you may see someone so engrossed in thought, even if they are just mopping a floor, that you might have to call their name twice to get them to come back to the present.
Have you ever been in the routine of coming straight home after work and sitting down in front of the old TV to get lost in a mental fantasy hour after hour? The mental body certainly needs to express itself, as it is a part of who each of us are.
Why don't you as commonly see people becoming emerged in emotional activities? How many people do you know that volunteer at the local hospital to get involved in a patient's recovery, to experience the emotions associated with caring for others.
As you know some days would be sad, yet other days would be ecstatic.
Why haven't you incorporated something similar into your life? If you would like, take a moment to ponder this yourself.
Why do some people veer from emotions and head toward the mental side anyway? Because it's less painless.
Emotions we are not comfortable with become excess baggage and what does excess baggage do to us? Well, you already know don't you? It sends us into yet more mental activities with great haste.
To cloak the soul, to hide it, like wearing sunglasses in the house.
If you will agree this seems to be more or less accurate, what becomes of this emotional neglect? Firstly, in essence you have declared to "life" you don't want emotions, you would prefer to hide by avoiding the moment and getting lost in thought thinking about tomorrow or yesterday.
Life is funny this way, as it will provide unlimited mental activity just for you if this is what you want.
The feeling of true emotion in your life will be scarce.
Your routine will accommodate this and create the most mundane repetitious activity you could have ever hoped for.
You know what happens next, right? Boredom, and dissatisfaction with what life has dealt you.
You become cranky, develop a lack of patience, and get angry when you are caught in a traffic jam.
You will acquire a sense of futility, "Why does life suck so much?" Years of such behavior will undoubtedly lead to depression or even worse.
Why? Why? Why? Why me? Because you got just what you wished for.
As you alienate yourself from emotions, you have closed the door to the life force from which you came.
God, Jehovah, Christ conciseness or Mr.
Potato Head - whatever you wish to call the force lives behind the senses.
You are living out of harmony, with this force that promotes creation, creativity, growth, experience and wisdom.
You have been out in nature - in the woods - before.
It's an endless cycle of creation and rebirth.
What happens when a tree is crowded out from the sunlight? It withers as it is in need of the life force the sun provides.
The tree reacts to this lacking and as is nature's way, is forced into another state being.
Perhaps you would say non-being, but I can't because I know energy never dies, even if you can't see it.
Emotion...
is the spiritual equivalent to the physical sensory nerves in the fingers and hands.
It is how we are to feel around spiritually.
This is the primary tool we as humans are to use to embrace life.
To create; to be a part of; in harmony with the life force.
It is not possible to be something unless you can feel it.
You can't be hot unless you are capable of feeling heat.
You can't be happy unless you can feel it with your emotional body.
If you have turned off the emotions, you will be hard pressed to find any real happiness.
You know there is a huge difference in a brief laugh at a corny joke, to feeling really feeling happiness all over inside.
The degree of happiness you are capable of feeling is exactly proportional to the receptivity you have allowed yourself to have.
From this day forward, do not blame life for the position you have created for yourself.
When you are prepared to take responsibility for your self-created reality, you can change it.
Emotion is the catalyst that evokes change.
On a more physical level, it is the force that inspires decisive actions, corrective actions that alter course of events.
On a more esoteric level, it is the "energy" that creates a future happening from the quantum level.
An invisible force that leaves your soul and grabs something of likeness to return for you.
As a cat will bring home a fresh kill for their owner to admire.
"Cast your bread on the waters and in many days it will come back to you".
Water is a symbol of "emotion", and bread is a symbol of sustenance or experience.
I don't usually thump Bibles, but the wisdom that lies in this sentence is clear - at least in my perception of the truth, it is.
Emotion is powerful.
It is fuel that feeds the fire.
When you experience emotion, be it anger or desire or love, or frustration, it is the creative force that leaves the source, the soul, to find and bring back form to the source from which it came; thus you have the power of creation, the fruits acquired through desire from emotion.
What thoughts do you entertain throughout the day? What thoughts do you seem to be repetitively contemplating about and putting energy into? Are any topics on your list? Bill: House, car insurance, etc.
Fear: Of job loss, growing old, failure, national recession, cooties? Despair: job is hopeless, financially burdened Love Life: Lonely, dissatisfied Just pick the primary topic and consider the energy you put forth into it, and the way you feel while doing it.
The degree of emotion you put forth into this is the degree of return you will continue to receive of the same feeling.
Fortunately, or perhaps no, for those who have succeeded in smothering their emotions, of not "feeling" anything but neutral, will receive nothing but the same old job, same old car, same old type of friends, repetition, mundane-ness, and boredom.
Life cannot tolerate stagnation and will communicate to you this fact by these intense feelings.
Emotion is a life force.
It is a powerful vibration that is as real as the heat from the sun.
It is not contained within your imagination, but is contained within your soul.
The place it resides is just above physical reality.
It is of a different vibration than your brain or your heart, even as it occupies the same space.
Its arena is the fourth dimension as this sheet of paper is two-dimensional.
This room you occupy is three dimensional, and the thoughts and emotions that permeate all of this physicality are fourth dimensional.
As fire is attached to three or four logs on the ground, it is real; it is energy, it is related to the third dimension, yet truly belongs to another.
We are like the logs, we provide the necessary environment, or conditions to accumulate emotion - "fire" and should naturally allow this to grow and "be".
This is the process of life creating life, emotion evokes desire, and desire evokes emotion.
Desire fueled with emotion is the energy that creates our future realities.
The more logs you gather on the fire, the more fire you acquire, resulting in more heat.
The more emotion you put behind desire, the more fire you create in the fourth dimensional reality resulting in more intensity in the energy you expel.
More energy, more power, and the faster the bread comes back to you, for better or worse.
If emotional desire is what creates the bread of the analogy, then what kind of bread you make is what kind of bread you will be eating in the near future.
If your emotional desires create sourdough bread, then don't be surprised to receive this in the future.
If you entertain thoughts of bitterness or anger or violence with emotional intensity, you are creating a future experience of the same likeness, because the creative field of the fourth dimension is going to create and return the same energy.
Probably not tomorrow, nevertheless it will return.
To make a remarkable change in your life, begin right away by monitoring your thoughts, because its your thoughts that bring on your emotions.
Think good things! Feel the resulting wonderful emotions! And the universe will do the rest by attracting you to future experiences and people that will make you feel even better.
You have the power, you always have!
