Many parents do not think they have the proper supplies to have craft days with their children.
However, you do not need much when it comes to toddler craft supplies.
If you have basic materials on hand, your child will be able to use their imaginations when they go to create their masterpieces.
Possibly the most important supply you need is paint.
You can do so much with this tool that it is vital in any parent's supply kit.
You can use paint to make simple pictures on paper or you can finger paint.
When you go to choose your paint, make sure it is washable for your own sake.
Besides paint, you also need a lot of paper, brushes and rollers.
You also might consider having different objects they can paint such as Styrofoam balls or wood cutouts.
Similar to paint, another of the many toddler craft supplies you should have on hand is crayons and markers.
Sometimes it is easier for you as parents if your child uses crayons instead of paint.
They are so inexpensive yet your child can have fun coloring for hours.
It also is a great way to teach your little one about colors.
You can use just plain paper for this or give them coloring books.
Other toddler craft supplies that you should have are glue, Popsicle sticks and safety scissors.
Children can create so many different things with Popsicle sticks it is crazy how they think of them.
They also will like to use anything else they can glue such as glitter, plastic eyes and foam cutouts.
They will be able to create animals and people with just a few materials.
You do not have to feel as if you need to buy out an entire craft store in order for your toddler to have a craft project day.
When you start out collecting your toddler craft supplies, it is best to buy a few to start.
See which ones your child uses most often and the most of.
This way you are not wasting money on supplies you think your child will like only to find that they never use it.
When you do it this way you are making the most of your money because you only will buy products that your child will use.
You might have to force your child to do crafts the first few times until they realize they have fun doing them.
After that, they will be begging to have craft days.
