Another installment of the popular Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters series from The Hub Network. If you're a fan of the card game, this DVD also features some fun bonus features especially for you.

Episode Synopses:

Shaw K'Naw - A bird creature is robbing jewelry stores with the help of a random non-Choten guy controller. The masters have given Ray a new creature to control, a gooey creature he names Fumes. They learn that the bird is a Thunder Guardian light creature, and it is very powerful and tough to defeat. When they attempt to battle it, not only do they lose all their creatures, but the bird blinds Ray temporarily. Gabe names the bird creature Shaw K'Naw. Ray learns to trust his other senses in using his new creature (who smells awful), and also figures out he can climb inside the gooey monster and see what it sees. They remove the gauntlet from the crook and Ray sends the Thunder Guardian bird home to the light realm. When he climbs back out of his monster, he also has regained his sight.

The Taken - A creepy creature is headed for the city, but the Masters don't know how it got through the veil. They have trouble defeating it, and Master Kumora cannot summon his creature, Shouter.

They venture to the creature realm to see why Shouter did not respond after Ray has a dream that something has happened to him. He summons Bob to help them track in the Nature realm, but the Nature creatures are not fans of Bob or the human controllers, so a battle ensues. Shouter saves them and explains to his chief who they all are, but says due to the fact that creatures are being mysteriously taken and drained of their manna, he can no longer fight with the Masters. Bob is captured by a Water creature that works for the Choten, and is being drained of his manna. Ray follows and frees all the other creatures they have been holding hostage, including an old favorite of theirs, Hissy the giant lizard creature. The Choten says the creatures are essentially self-renewing batteries, but Ray escapes back to the creature realm. Shouter is given the title of Shaman and the Masters are inducted as members of the tribe for freeing the creatures.

Duel Hard - While Ray and Allie visit her father at his bank before they see a movie, the bank is robbed by the criminal from the first episode, who has been hired by the Choten. They are looking for a helmet that controls the Water civilization. Ray and Allie call Gabe, who comes to the rescue with all the Masters as backup. Allie's father is held hostage for the helmet. Gabe and his creature Gargle whip up a fake, but it is quickly discovered when Lakshmi delivers it to the Choten. She sends Allie's father to the Dark realm with her creature, Razorkinder (the terrifying puppet).

Heart of Darkness - Three of the Masters and Ray, Allie, and Gabe travel to the Dark realm to rescue Allie's father. They battle lots of native creatures, and Allie summons her creature Squeaky. Squeaky leads them through his neck of the Dark realm, where they meet his family, who offer him as the runt up as a sacrifice, which upsets Allie (who was abandoned by her own mother). They end up running into the ruler of the Dark realm, Megaria, who has shape shifted into Allie's mother to trick her father. Allie sacrifices herself for the safety of her father and Squeaky, whom she banishes with Ray to safety.

Darkness of Heart - A continuation of the previous episode, Ray has Squeaky lead Allie's father home with one of the Masters, who erases his memories of the Dark realm. Allie continues to battle Megaria, but she is slowly becoming consumed by the Darkness of the realm and its power. Razorkinder backstabs its trainer, Lakshmi, and she too is captured by Megaria, who forces her and Allie into a duel for her favor, which Allie wins deftly by playing dirty and summoning the Light creature, Shaw K'Naw. Allie is given shape-shifting powers and Lakshmi is caged. Meanwhile, Ray, Gabe, and the Masters stage a Trojan Horse style method of rescue, but Megaria isn't easily fooled and they are imprisoned. Allie uses her shape-shifting powers to free them, but Lakshmi escapes as well with a shield from the Nature realm that the Masters have been searching for, which she returns to the Choten to regain his favor, along with Megaria's cloak which she steals on her way out of the realm. Allie and friends return home safely.

Bonus Features:
