  Army face paint designs are fun for parades, parties, holidays or to recognize military service. While the army itself is known for camouflage face paint, there are other ways civilians can paint their faces to recognize and honor the army. From fully covering your face to painting symbols or objects, there are several designs available to meet your aesthetic.
  
  

Camouflage

• Like army soldiers, camouflage your face using green, black and brown paint. If you're wearing a military uniform designed for the desert or for snow, then adjust the colors accordingly. The trick to making camouflage face paint is to paint shiny, prominent areas with a darker color and shadowy areas like under the chin and nose with lighter colors. Use different colors in irregular stripes and patterns to cause a blurring effect.
  
  

Commemorative

• Face painting is a great way to honor or show support for something. If you have a loved one or friend returning from war, paint his battalion badge on your cheek. On Veteran's day, commemorate fallen soldiers with a Prisoners of War/Missing in Action silhouette or an American flag. A basic "Support Our Troop" in red, white and blue is also a great way to honor men and women in the service.

• The army and all branches of military have lots of symbols, flags and logos. Pick your favorites and put them under your eyes or on your forehead. The white star outlined in black and gold is classic. You could also look up fighting flags or mottoes.

• Common images associated with the army are rifles, tanks, soldiers and battles. A soldier with a rifle or a tank along with the words "United States Army" or "God Bless America" is an effective and easy way to show your support.
