We have all seen them and it's also very likely that we have all been guilty of them, but the thing that really matters is that we become conscious of this action and we stop doing them.
This will contribute to Facebook becoming a place that has important information from out contacts instead of annoying attempts at getting attention.
Trying to make boring topics sound interesting: There is an old saying that if you have nothing good to say maybe you shouldn't say anything at all.
This is something that also relates to posting on Facebook about your hard day cleaning the house and taking out the trash.
No one cares about this and it makes your life seem even duller to your contacts.
The bragging related to relationships: Everyone has the greatest partner in the world when they are on Facebook.
Posting the flowers that your significant other sent you and saying that he is the best in the world is usually pretty annoying to people.
The main reason for this is that in many cases people know your relationship has serious issues and this makes it seem like you are trying to cover for it, which is terrible.
If your relationship truly is good, you normally don't feel the need to brag about it.
Sharing tragic photos for "awareness" All you really do when you share terrible photos is make people upset and the awareness goes out the window.
Stop being a keyboard activist and go out there to do something to really change the world.
Innuendos with no clear target When people post something like "hey if you have something bad to say to me, say it to my face" this only makes you seem like a coward for calling out a person without really calling them out.
If you are going to go public, then go public for real or send this person a private message.
Saying you will quit Facebook I know at least 10 people who have made a dramatic Facebook announcement that they will leave and they always comeback after a few weeks.
This people are crying for attention and they always end up being ridiculed for their drama.
Posting about being bored It's almost like you expect people to reply that they will come over to your house to take you out and entertain you.
Go do something productive with your life if you are so bored.
The drama queen or king People that post messages like "why did this happen to me" are just trying to bait you into asking what happened.
Teach them a lesson and don't ask a thing.
If you are the one doing that then please stop, it's a very weak way to get someone to pay attention.
