- 1). Turn off the DirecTV receiver and the projection TV.
- 2). Connect the three plugs on one end of the component RGB cable to the red, green and blue video outputs on the back of the DirecTV receiver, matching the colors together. Do the same with the other ends of the cable to the matching video inputs on the back of the projection TV.
- 3). Plug in the connectors on the stereo cable to the audio outputs on the DirecTV receiver. The white connector plugs into the left audio output and the red plug connects to the right.
- 4). Connect the plugs on the other end to the audio input jacks on the back of the projection TV.
