The Bible talks about worship as an act or a sign of adoration towards God. Worship within the Christian religion is seen as a lifestyle and not something that is done occasionally or in a specific or prescribed place. People confuse worship with music that is a medium used to convey their expression of worship, as music was created by God with the purpose to glorify His name. The very essence of worship is the attitude of your heart while entering into worship and acknowledging God.
According to Mr. W. E. Vine sums up the conclusion to "worship," "…broadly it ("worship may be regarded as the direct acknowledgement to God, of His nature, attributes, ways and claims, whether by the outgoing of the heart in praise and thanksgiving or by deed done in such acknowledgment"
Vine stated that not only is worship praise, as such, but can be "a deed done in such acknowledgement." The view that an act is only worship if it is performed in a religious assembly or in a church building is untrue because you can worship in your room, as you take out the trash or even as you walk down the road.
The Christian who evangelize and spreads the gospel of Christ, obeys laws of this temporary world and strife’s towards a holy life is worshipping God in a great sense (Phili. 2: 16; Rom. 13: 1-7; 2 Cor. 7: 1).
The level of worship progresses and your personality normally play a huge role in how you worship. Pastor Dominique Swartz of the Full Gospel Steenberg Blessed Hope Ministries once said “if you can’t worship in your private space you can’t worship in a public place”.
