The movements are more personal and show reverence and yielding to God through such gestures as crossing your heart with your hands and swaying.
- The dance of celebration is a dance that reflects whatever God has placed in the worshiper's heart. The movements reflect this gift from God. The dance celebrates everything that is good from God. It is full of excitement, and the movements accordingly are large, joyful and highly expressive.
- The dance of warfare is forceful and militant. It can speak to the circumstances of a person's life, or it can reflect the battle against Satan. The dance of warfare is a bold dance, and the dancer shows confidence through his movements, which are assertive but not extravagant.
- The dance of travail is a dance to help either the dancer or others through moments of discouragement in their lives.Through the dance of travail, the dancer reaches to God and searches for guidance, direction and encouragement. Hands may be either lifted to God or close to the body, and the movements reflect prayer.
- This prophetic dance ministers to a person's heart. It speaks of a specific encouragement, a confirmation of actions or thoughts, or specific directions that the dancer has had placed in her heart. It is a God-given dance. It is similar to the dance of worship in that it is a personal dance between God and the dancer, and the movements reflect communication with God: arms are uplifted and hands are open.
