- Lake Sinclair is situated near Milledgeville, Georgia. It is spread over three counties: Baldwin, Putnam and Hancock. The Oconee River, Little River, and several creeks feed water to Lake Sinclair.
- Lake Sinclair has a surface area of 15,330 acres. Its shoreline stretches over 400 miles. At its maximum depth, Lake Sinclair measures 90 feet. The water level can change up to two feet daily.
- Lake Sinclair is located 90 minutes southeast from Georgia's capital, Atlanta.
- The Lake Sinclair Dam was completed in February 1953. Measuring 104 feet high and 2,988 feet long, the dam cost approximately $14 million dollars. A hydroelectric plant from the dam can generate 45 megawatts.
