- 4J+1+1 RV Park is on the Uncompahgre River in Ouray, and is open from May to October each year. It offers 45 RV sites with full hookups, seven with electric hookups only, and six with just water and electric hookups. In addition, the park offers 10 tent campsites and one cabin for rent. A public mineral hot springs is reachable by a footbridge. The campground offers an outdoor pool and hot tub, laundry facilities, a children's playground, free Wi-Fi, picnic areas, and kennels for pets. Open campfires are permitted, as are barbecues. The 4J+1+1 RV Park is within walking distance of a museum, a rec center, a movie theater, an art gallery, restaurants, guided horseback trail rides, jeep rentals and miniature golf. Hiking, mountain biking and jeep trails all start at the campground.
- The Amphitheater Campground in Ouray is run by the U.S. National Forest Service, and located on the mountainside above the town. The amphitheater the campground is named after is a natural one, formed by an ancient volcanic explosion. The campground offers 11 RV sites for RVs less than 35 feet long, and 19 sites for tents. There are no toilet or shower facilities, and campers must protect food from black bears in the vicinity.
- Ridgway State Park is 17 miles from Ouray. The park has three separate campgrounds. Dakota Terrace Campground is within walking distance of the reservoir and swimming beach, and has the only RV dump station in the park. Elk Ridge Campground is located on a pine-covered mesa. Pa-Co-Chu-Pak Campground is located along the side of the Uncompaghre River. One of the few campgrounds with year-round camping in the area, Ridgway offers 258 RV campsites and 25 hike-in tent campsites during the high season; 20 RV campsites in Dakota Terrace and 15 tent campsites in Pa-Co-Chu-Pak Campground are open during the winter. Three yurts are available for rent year-round in Dakota Terrace. The campgrounds feature restrooms, shower facilities, laundry facilities, a playground, and snack machines.
- Weber Westridge RV Park and Campground is located between the towns of Ouray and Ridgway, seven miles outside of Ouray, right off Interstate 550. With 11 RV sites, Weber Westridge is available for long-term camping, and offers monthly rates. Facilities include restrooms, laundry facilities and barbecue grills. All the RV sites have full hookups, and there are tent campsites available as well. One cabin is also available for rent. Weber Westridge is open year round.
