Blair wakes up on the yacht and there’s no evidence of Ross except for his dinner jacket, with something sticking out of the pocket, draped over the Captain’s Chair. The missing Rayburn appears in the water holding onto the side of the boat. As the blonde continues to stew about not being able to stop the wedding, the beach bum reminds “Hotshot” that there’s nothing worse than wanting someone who doesn’t want you back.
When she bristles at the nickname he’s given her, he retorts with, “Someone got up on the wrong side of the boat this morning.” As Blair is close to tears that they’ll never be found, Rayburn holds up the boat keys which he claims he found in some seaweed.
Across the bay in The Honeymoon Cabana, Tea announces she’s keeping her name since Blair was once Mrs. Manning and she didn’t want to share the same name. She and Todd banter a while, then dive back under the covers.
At Llanview PD, Bo’s “First Born” wants to borrow a moment from his “Dad.” The commish tries to dismiss him but David is insistent that’ll he’ll want to see this special footage from his reality show. When Buchanan sees the DVD is one of Matthew telling Destiny about his parent’s kissing, he accuses his son of resorting to a desperate means to get the family money.
Around the corner in his office, McBain studies a police mug shot of Jared as Clint asks him via phone if there are any leads on who beat up his son-in-law. Over at Llanfair, Natalie’s just left the study when Jared receives a call on his cell.
Banks is very perturbed at the caller. Out in the foyer Jess lets Brody in and he proceeds to the study where he hears Jared saying, “I told you not to call me here!” Banks spots Lovett and hangs up. Later while Natalie, Jessica, Jared and Brody are enjoying pancakes, McBain interrupts the breakfast to further question the group. Natalie is clearly annoyed by John’s intrusion and subtle jabs at Jared’s whereabouts with Charlie Banks being his alibi each time. The detective does get a new lead from Jess when she tells him about the night she found the reality TV producer in the bushes thinking it was the stalker. Brody escorts McBain to the door pretending they need to talk about the warehouse bust. In the foyer, he tells his boss about the phone call and how Jared told the person not to call him there.
At the mansion, Clint asks Nora if there’s any word on the appeal. As she tells him things may change after Greg almost killed his brother in surgery, Matthew wheels in. His stepdad tries to buff the awkward moment by telling his nephew that Pa would have been proud of him for taking matters into his own hands with the law suit. He suggests the lad take his time making a decision. Matthew leaves for the hospital where he later receives disturbing news from Greg. He will not be doing Matt’s surgery.
Back at Llanview PD, David is hurt by is Dad’s accusations and assures him he didn’t want the taping to fall into the wrong hands. Just as Vickers is saying that there are no other copies so Uncle Clint will never find out what’s on the disk, Nora and Clint walk in! David smoothly covers by claiming when it was noticed by the producers how much the camera loved the elder Buchanan, that they insisted on the footage, but David was firm is putting family first and would not release it. Vickers continues to babble and Nora interjects, “Isn’t there a housewife that’s desperate for you somewhere?” He smiles and hands the trio Dorian for Mayor campaign buttons. As he backs out of the office assuring them he would never dream of using footage against the family, Clint slams door in his face. After he leaves, they dump the buttons in the trash. McBain is in the main room and tells David he wants the footage of Jessica going after the producer. After Clint departs Bo’s office, the commish plays the DVD for Nora and then the two destroy the evidence.
Across town, Blair and Ross arrive at The Honeymoon Cabana. Blair is hurt when she hears Tea’s giggles inside. Room Service arrives and Todd yells to leave the food. After the waiter leaves, Ross picks at some food. Blair wants to go. No sooner have they departed, Tea comes out in her robe and finds Dorian’s’ check to Ross Rayburn on the ground!
At Llanfair, Jared gets another call and ignores it, claiming it’s work. Later, hidden on the stairs, he calls the person back. A phone vibrates on the terrace and a man watching Natalie and Jessica, answers it. “I have them in my sight,” he tells Banks. At the same time, John is reviewing footage and finds a man lurking in the bushes. It’s the same man!
