- 1). Fly from the United Kingdom to Hawaii via New York. A number of airlines fly between cities in the United Kingdom and airports in the New York City area, including Newark Liberty International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport. As of January 2011, the only direct flights between New York and Hawaii are operated by Continental Airlines from Newark International Airport. Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Continental provide direct flights between Newark and London's Heathrow Airport, allowing for convenient connections without changing airports.
- 2). Fly to Hawaii via Vancouver, British Columbia. Air Canada and WestJet provide direct flights from the Canadian city of Vancouver to Hawaii. WestJet flies from Vancouver to airports in Honolulu, Kahului, Kona and Lihue. Travelers flying on Air Canada can fly from Heathrow Airport via Vancouver to Honolulu, Maui and Kona. British Airways and Thomas Cook Airlines also fly nonstop between London and Vancouver.
- 3). Fly from the United Kingdom via Los Angeles. A number of airlines fly to Hawaii from Los Angeles International Airport, including American Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines and Continental Airlines. Most airlines fly to Honolulu from Los Angeles, although flights are also available to smaller airports on the islands. With the exception of Hawaiian, these airlines also provide flights to the United Kingdom directly from Los Angeles or via another U.S. city. British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Air New Zealand also offer nonstop flights from Los Angeles to London.
- 4). Fly to Hawaii from Tokyo. Travelers can fly to Honolulu from Tokyo's Narita or Haneda airports. Delta, Hawaiian, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways and United Airlines provide nonstop flights from Tokyo to Honolulu. A number of options are available to fly from London to Tokyo, including All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and British Airways.
