- 1). Purchase and download an AVI to MP4 converter client. There are several commercial converter programs available for sale over the Internet (see References). All are formatted in much the same way and perform the same basic functions.
- 2). Install the converter client into your computer.
- 3). Open the converter program and import the AVI Video Files you want to convert.
- 4). Set the conversion settings. Many commercial converters offer other conversions than just AVI to MP4. Make sure you set the output files as .MP4 to get the right formatting.
- 5). Start the conversion. The conversion process will take longer for each AVI file you are trying to convert.
