In the world of fantasy sports, they say that you should buy low and sell high.
This is very similar to the mantra that you hear when it comes to the stock market.
By trading away players at their maximum values, you'll afford yourself the opportunity to acquire other ones who you never would have been able to get before them.
Once your player comes back down to earth and the one you're getting begins to pick up his level of play, you'll be sitting in a great position.
Too many people unfortunately do the opposite, growing scared when their fantasy studs are struggling, and jumping on the opportunity to chase someone in the middle of a hot streak.
This is your opportunity to take full advantage of this common occurrence.
Who are some of the fantasy basketball buy low candidates at this point in the season? Well, let's have a quick look at a few.
One of them is Al Jefferson.
I would absolutely recommend buying him low if you can, because he was a first or second round pick earlier this year, yet he's struggled all year.
This could change very quickly, as he seems to be steadily improving during the past week or two.
He even recently had a game with 26 points and rebounds, so you may have to act quickly if you want to buy him low.
Another player I'd recommend buying at a low price is David West.
He was a third or fourth round pick in most drafts, but wasn't even a top 100 player during the first two months of the year.
The Hornets are playing some great basketball, largely in part to the fact that West has begun to play the type of basketball we're used to seeing out of him.
Go after West if you can.
These are the two buy low players I'd recommend targeting this week.
Go after them if you can, because the opportunity won't last long.
