High Protein Milk Shake

Milk shakes are being sold everywhere, and they are delicious.
But do you know that drinking a shake can be harmful to your health if you are to drink one everyday? That's what some people do.
It's unhealthy because milk shakes contain a high level of fat and calories.
Ingredients such as chocolate, cream and sugar contribute to the calories.
It is perfectly fine if you just drink one shake in a week or once every five days.
But to consume one everyday would most likely make you gain weight.
So does that mean you should avoid drinking milk shakes altogether? The answer is no.
In fact, if you know how to convert your milk shakes into nutritious drinks, it is highly recommended that you drink at least one a day.
What makes a milk shake nutritious? You can have great tasting shakes that are beneficial to your health just by converting a high calorie shake into a high protein shake.
In other words, instead of using high calorie (junk) ingredients, you should replace those ingredients with other nutritious foods.
For example, don't add cream into the milk shake.
Use a banana instead.
A banana can create a smooth and creamy texture for your drink as well.
Instead of using full cream milk, use non-fat milk.
Finally, instead of adding lots of cocoa powder, use chocolate flavored whey protein powder as a substitute.
Of course, it takes a little more time if you are to prepare the drinks yourself.
But think on the positive side.
You now know how to make healthy drinks.
You can have fun trying out different recipes to see what type of shakes you like.
The best part is, you can drink milk shakes on a daily basis without having to worry about gaining excess weight!
