Trumpets

• The Levites were charged with blowing silver trumpets as a call to announce important meetings. Two trumpets meant everyone must come. One trumpet summoned leadership only.
  
  

Prosephying

• The Asaph branch of the Levites sang prophesy set to the music of harps, lyres and cymbals.
  
  

Daily Songs

• The Levites were to offer God standing praises, singing their appreciation once in the morning and once in the evening.
  
  

Temple Dedication

• All the Levites dressed in the finest linens and sang praises outside the Holy Place during the Temple dedication. Their song was covered by the cloud of God's glory, according to the Bible.
  
  

Altar Worship

• According to the Bible, Levites worked at the atonement altar daily offering praise and worship to the Lord.
