- 1). Turn the engine off and pop the hood. Closely examine the area directly above the headlights. A black plastic panel (splash shield) extends from one headlight to the other.
- 2). Remove the eight fasteners from the splash shield. Then pull it away from the car and set it aside. The fasteners can be removed with your hands or you can use a pair of pliers for assistance.
- 3). Locate the quick-connect locking tabs. Each headlight is held in place by two tabs (one on each side of the headlight). Pull the tabs up to release the headlight assembly. You can use a pair of pliers to help, if needed.
- 4). Push the headlight assembly forward (away from the vehicle) to access the rear of the assembly.
- 5). Turn the bulb module 1/4 turn counterclockwise to release it from the assembly. Then pull it out.
- 6). Press the tab to release the old headlight bulb. Snap on the new headlight bulb and insert the module into the rear of the headlight assembly. Turn it clockwise until it locks.
- 7). Push the headlight assembly back into the vehicle. Push down the quick-connect locking tabs to secure the headlight assembly.
- 8). Replace the splash shield. Push down each fastener until it locks.
