Elimination Chamber is annually the final pay-per-view stop on the Road to WrestleMania. This year's show featured two Elimination Chamber Matches where the winners of those bouts would go on to defend either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII. In addition to those two matches, the final match of the evening was an Ambulance Match between Kane and John Cena.
What I Said Then: While not a bad show, this was kind of a disappointment. I liked the opening match but found the second Elimination Chamber match lacking excitement until Big Show entered Daniel Bryan's pod. Segments of the audience liked this bout less than me as "boring" chants were audible during portions of the bout. The Cena bout was a fun brawl and better than anything else that has happened during this atrocious feud. If you ordered this show, I don't think you got ripped off but I don't think you got all of your money's worth either.

Overall Recommendation: I found both pay-per-view events leading up to WrestleMania XXVIII to be quite disappointing. While I liked this show a little better than Royal Rumble 2012, I still can't bring myself to recommend that you go out and purchase this DVD. Unlike the DVD for Royal Rumble 2012, I think this one is worth renting. Just be prepared to use the fast-forward button quite a bit as there is a lot of filler on this show.
