Short Person Joke.

What!! What is a short person Joke?

Do they mean midgets ? or do they mean non basketball players?

I am 5'5'' and have always considered myself short!
It has had a lot of advantages as well as disadvantages but you
learn to make the most of either.
When I was in the Army and Reserves it was ok as I could sleep
in the cabs across the seats from door to door - no problem.

Most could not and so, unless it was Summer, I did not sleep on the
ground under the truck, and so had shelter from the wind and the
benefits of the warmth of the remnants of a cooling engine.
Neither did I wake up with white frost on the poncho over my
sleeping bag.
Basically the joke was on the lanky ones.

Yes! Short people jokes are orienteer'd towards the - dare we say
it, 'midgets'.

This is of course a cruel attempt at making or creating Jokes which
is at their predicament.
Of course many of these people lead very 'normal lives, indeed
like many people, with what one would call afflictions, they seem
to have the strength and audacity to overcome their restrictions
and succeed where many of us mere mortals would of quit a long
time ago.
Yes they have it for life and they learn from an early age that they,
basically, themselves have to fight their own battles and do it
better than many of us.
We see then in movies where a number have been very successful and made a fortune and many spend their life in such places as entertainment industry and circus's where they purposefully become short people jokes. They are not dull and do not want sympathy- they are actually shrewd business people and taking all they can get.
Perhaps after all the short people jokes are on us.
