Now a lot of people seem to think that tailgating is all about the alcohol and not much else.

If you've never heard of cornhole it's a simple game that's been around for a long time.
Some people call it bean bag toss or baggo.
Regardless of the name they all share similar rules and cornhole is one of the most popular tailgate games.
If you don't know what cornhole is or anything about cornhole's rules the game is simple and it can be played by almost anyone.
It's a game for everyone young, old, drunk or sober; whatever it doesn't matter.
And the coolest part is that it's portable.
The board will fit in most large-sized trunks but if space is an issue you can always grab a mini version which will fit in any car.
In order to play, all you need is a cornhole set which you can pickup from almost any major sporting goods store.
You can even make one although most people, like me, choose to buy one.
Making a cornhole board can be really time consuming and a little difficult if you don't have the right tools or carpentry skills.
Cornhole boards are generally made out of wood.
However, some companies are producing plastic versions because they are durable and lightweight.
Each board has a hole and each player attempts to throw small bags through the hole of the opposite cornhole board.
The small bags used to be filled with corn which is where the game got the name cornhole.
But these days the bags usually contain small beans, plastic pellets or other synthetic fillers.
For a casual player the filler won't matter as long as the bags are the correct size and weight.
One of the main reasons so many people like this game is because it is so simple to play.
The bags are tossed and the object is to get them through the hole in the opposite board.
Tossing a bag into the hole counts for 3 points while landing a bag on top of the board counts for 1.
Each player then continues to take turns tossing their bags until a player reaches the score of 21 and is declared the Cornhole Champ!
