- 1). Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the guitar's output jack.
- 2). Hold the screwdriver against one of the guitar jack wiring poles. Be careful not to damage the wire connection.
- 3). Tighten the nut with a wrench while holding the screwdriver in the socket. Remove the screwdriver when the nut tightens enough to keep the jack from spinning.
