Vegan Survival - What To Do When You Don" t Find Anything To Eat

So I'm pretty sure you have found yourself in a situation in which you just can't find anything to eat and you are hungry. This has happened to me several times, specially when I was a newbie vegan. I remember days when I would find myself in places where every place to eat was a fast food chain, and had no other option but to wait to get home and make me something to eat

Now my best advice to you, so this won't happen to you, is to always plan ahead. If you know you are going to a place, where you might think its going to be hard for you to find something to eat, then start planning ahead and start thinking of what to take for your trip.

Depending on the situation, you can prepare yourself some nice sandwiches or light meals and pack them into containers and put them in your purse or bag.

Now If you think that would not be too appropriate for the situation, then grab vegan energy bars to take with you, so you can at least hold your hunger until you get home.

Another great tip I have always found useful, is to leave bags of seeds or nuts in your car. I mean you never know what might come through your way, so this is a safety pack for me in this types of situations.

And don't forget about the fruits. In my opinion these are just better than any other type of snacks. They are sweet, tasty, full of vitamins and great to your health. If you are worry about the left overs, carry some zip-locks with you or even paper towel, so you can deal with the leftovers later.

In conclusion, always plan ahead so you could be prepared when a situation comes your way, You will be glad you did. In my case, I should have learn this lesson when I first started the vegan lifestyle. I could have save myself from unnecessary hunger.
