- 1). Play through the game normally until you have received the boots and the axe tool.
- 2). Return to the main continent and use the axe to chop down the forest until you have chopped down 10 of the large trees. Avoid chopping down the tree with the bird.
- 3). Go to the old man's house near the top-right corner of the forest. Speak to him to receive the magic shield spell.
- 4). Equip the Magic Shield spell, then chop down the tree with the bird. The tree will transform into a large white house with a heart on it.
- 5). Enter the house. You will find the Life wizard, who will grant you the "Cure" spell.
