How to Get People on Your List to Respond So You Can Help Them

It is a fact that if you can get a response from someone on your list, chances of them buying from you increase dramatically.
And people on your list that don't respond are less likely to buy.
So how do you get people on your subscriber list to write back? Here's how I do it.
1.
Don't always promote your product in your emails - don't just send emails to your subscriber list promoting your products.
Why? Because your subscribers really don't care what products you have.
They only care about how you can help them.
So send them information that helps them.
Then they will want to learn more, and then you can promote your products.
2.
Only send relevant information - don't abuse your subscriber list.
If they signed up to learn more about back pain, don't send them information on high blood pressure.
It is OK to send related information every once in a while, but if you continuously send them information they don't care about, your emails will never get opened.
3.
Give away something free - this is one of the best tricks of the trade - giving away something for free.
But don't make it completely free.
Instead, tell them that if they will take a quick survey, they will get something free.
Then use the survey to find out what they are looking for or what they need.
Once you get them to answer your questions, you know what they want and are in a better position to meet their needs.
4.
Ask questions - give your subscribers a chance to respond.
Actively encourage them to respond.
Ask them what is holding them back.
Ask them what they need.
Ask them what their biggest challenge is.
Then answer them.
If they write you a personal email, write them back personally.
Once you get a conversation going, they will trust you more and be more willing to buy what you are selling.
