Construct Some Fun Construction Birthday Party Activities

Whether your guests are doing construction birthday party activities or games, a Bob the Builder or construction zone party is sure to please your little workers.
This is a super easy party to put together, as many of the activities just naturally fall into place.
Dirt Mover Relay - Split the kids into teams and give each team a bucket, shovel, and a pile of dirt.
Put all the buckets at the finish line.
Each player will take a shovel full of dirt from their dirt pile and walk or run it to their bucket and dump it in.
Then they must run back to their teammates and hand-over the shovel to the next person in line.
The game continues until one team has completely moved their dirt pile into the bucket.
Pin The Tools On Bob - This game is played like Pin the Tail on the Donkey except you use a poster of Bob the Builder and create tools out of poster board or cardstock.
using double-stick tape, the kids try to pin the tools on Bob the Builder's tool belt while blindfolded.
Digging For Trucks & Tools - Bury small plastic trucks and tools in a large mound of dirt.
Give each of the kids a shovel and let them have at it! The object is to try and unearth the most tools.
Block Building - Prior to the party, prepare various sized empty cardboard boxes by taping them closed and painting them in various colors.
Split the kids into teams and give each team the same number and size of boxes.
The object of the game is to be the first team to build a tower using all of their boxes within the designated time.
If the boxes start to fall, the team members may try to rebuild their tower as long as time permits.
Musical Trucks - This game is played like "Musical Chairs.
" Decorate cardboard boxes to look like trucks.
You will need to have as many boxes as you do kids.
The boxes should be large enough for the kids to either sit or stand in.
As the music plays, the kids walk around the "trucks.
" When the music stops, the kids try to climb into a "truck".
Each time the music stops, remove one more "truck.
" Whoever is the last person left in the game is the winner.
Construction Zone Obstacle Course - This game is only an option if you have sufficient space to create an obstacle course.
Set-up various piles of dirt for the kids to go over, use caution tape to rope off a maze of walkways, orange cones for them to walk around, tires to step through, stepping stones to walk upon, etc.
These are just a few ideas to help you throw a fun and successful construction birthday party or Bob the Builder party.
Lay a proper foundation with fun invitations, construct appropriate theme decorations, then build the thrill of it all into the party with exciting theme-related games and activities.
