- 1). Click "Start." Right-click "Computer," and then click "Properties."
- 2). Scroll down to "System" and look next to the "Processor" label.
- 3). Look for the "GHz" or "MHz" rating of the processor, such as "2.80 GHz," for example. This represents the number of instructions per second that can be processed by the CPU and BPU. Every MHz is a million instructions-per-second, while every GHz is a billion instructions-per-second. This rating is the number of calculations per second your BPU is capable of.
