- To remove the speaker in the dashboard, pry away the speaker's grille using a flat-head screwdriver. With the grille off, you can disconnect the mounting screws for the speaker, pull it out and disconnect the electrical connector.
- There are two speakers contained in the front door. For the upper speaker, you need to remove the inner door handle by prying out the trim caps covering the handle's mounting screws and removing the screws. Slide the trim cover for the door latch forward to remove it and detach the accessory switch mount plate from the trim panel. Unlike the other speakers, you need to disconnect the wires first and then rotate the speaker to align its mounting tabs with the slots in the frame to remove it.
The lower speaker requires you to remove the door's whole inner trim panel. Start by removing the armrest; it is secured by two screws. Pry off the door handle's cover using a trim stick or flat-head screwdriver and disconnect any wiring harness connectors it may have. There are multiple ways you can remove the window crank (if equipped); you can dislodge the retainer by inserting a hooked wire behind the crank or rubbing a cloth behind it. Remove all the retaining screws for the panel itself, then pry the panel off its fasteners by inserting a screwdriver (or possibly a putty knife)along the edges. You should now be able to lift the panel up and away from the door. Disconnect any more electrical connectors behind the panel, then peel away the water shield. With the panel off, remove the speaker's screws and disconnect its wires. - Removing a speaker in the rear door is very similar to removing the dashboard speaker. Use a small, flat screwdriver to pry off the speaker grille, then remove the speaker's screws, pull it out and unplug its electrical connector.
- The speakers in the pillar are removed in the same fashion as the dashboard and the rear door.
