Too frequently I hear Statements from small business owners about how they are unable to grow their business right now because it's the slow season.

I see it like this:

These owners are coming up with reasons for why they can not make online money instead of doing something about it. There's always an easy excuse to come up with.

The owner will opine an number of reasons like some of these:

- It is impossible to generate more money in November/December because people aren't interested in buying into a affiliate or other opportuniiesy during the holidays.

- In January prospects is penniless from the holidays.

- In March and April home based business buyers are tapped out for the tax season.

- In the summer, potential customers are all on away on vacations.

- In the fall, people are anxious with back-to-school.

- In the winter, it's all the holidays.

As you can see there are a hundreds if not thousands of excuses not to be doing something or for excusing why they are refusing do something.

How I see it? This is a load of crap!!! Excuses excuses excuses....business is only down if you are

IF you exert yourself consistently and persistently....spring, summer, winter and fall....you will learn it's NOT the month, it's NOT the season, it's what you DO that counts!

You hear lots of owners say that income for their business lessens in the summer months ...why do you think that is? Did it slow down and people noticed it, or did people start saying it so it became reality? Or is it because the OWNER SLOWED DOWN?

I have had some of my most profitable weeks and months during the summer season, I have discovered that all it takes is persistent and consistent action on your part...remember: "A straight path never leads anywhere except to the objective." - Andre Gide.

You also need to remember to stop once in a while and re-explore your objectives and goals. Are the methods you are using right now moving you towards to them? There is NO SUCH THING as treading water you either move forward or backward in life, so keep moving forward.

Even though it is the summer season continue putting out a concerted consistent effort, and you will appreciate the impetus this builds for the off seasons. Also think it's always winter somewhere! it's always Summer somewhere! You can build your business in ALL seasons.. Get To It!!!!
