How to Eject a CD on a Dell Studio

    • 1). Press the "Power" button to turn on the Dell Studio laptop.

    • 2). Press the "Eject" button on the keyboard. This button features an arrow pointing upward and a line at the bottom, and is located in the upper-right corner of the keyboard. If the CD does not eject, proceed to Step 3.

    • 3). Click the "Start" icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.

    • 4). Click "Computer."

    • 5). Right-click the optical disc drive, usually labeled "D:," located beneath "Devices with Removable Storage." The name of the drive is different depending on the optical disc drive type.

    • 6). Click "Eject." The CD is ejected from the laptop.
