- Bake a chocolate cake and set it on a rack to cool. Use your hands to crumble the cake into small pieces. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake crumbles with 3/4 of a container of cake frosting and roll them into balls. Place on a baking sheet and put them into the refrigerator. Insert lollipop sticks into the cake balls. Melt colored candy coating according to the directions and use it to coat the cake balls. After they have dried, draw faces on each of the lollipops.
- Many festivals include common items such as burgers and fries, but because this is a Halloween festival, dress it up a bit. Make your burger as you normally would, but top it with a cheesy jack-o-lantern face. Before melting the cheese on the burger, use a knife to cut a jack-o-lantern face from the cheese. Serve the burger open-faced (with the top bun and any accouterments on the side). Add a side of sweet potato fries for a dash of autumnal orange on the plate.
- Pop the popcorn as you normally would with vegetable or coconut oil, and then set it aside. Heat butter, vanilla extract and marshmallows in a saucepan until smooth, which should take about five minutes. Pour the mixture over the popped popcorn and toss to coat. Put each serving into the Halloween-themed bag of your choice.
- Grab a large bowl and mix cream cheese, whipped cream, pudding mix, milk and powdered sugar. Crumble chocolate sandwich cookies into a fine, dirt-like consistency. Scoop the pudding mixture into a colored plastic serving-size container (preferably black or green). Add a thick layer of "cookie dirt" on top, and then garnish with gummy worms. Give patrons spoons so they can enjoy this ghoulish dessert on the go.
